So much is changing, help I cannot keep up. Do you ever feel that way? Technology is moving faster than I know how to keep up. Days are flying by faster each and every year, my parents always told me that & now I tell my children the same, :).

My new favorite person is Brendon Burchard. He is the author of the book, "The Charge", www.thecharge.com. It is free if you just pay for shipping. He offers three videos worth watching!!! I appreciate being challenged and then having a practical way to apply what I have learned. I copied his PDF of the 6 questions we need to ask ourselves every day. He challenged us to make videos to share with you all on impacting others and making a difference. I have decided to begin with a video on just being ORDINARY. I will share the path on finding ways to be excellent at being just Ordinary. Watch the video below that was inspired by my sister Viv Beck and Brendon Burchard, perhaps this will somehow impact and inspire you. It was in 2005 and I just read "The Path" by Laurie Beth Jones, and I have defined my mission by going through her book. I did not do this alone, I was mentoring women on a weekly teleconference and we each spent several weeks defining our personal missions. Here is my joy!!! I still like that purpose and now I have found a vehicle with which to pursue it. Here it is. My mission is to help others discover, empower, master becoming the best you be through honesty, integrity, and commitment in all I do. One of the leaders in ViSalus, the #1 weight loss platform, said it best. Johnna Parr said, "It is best to first start with yourself and do not let yourself down." So with that, I am sharing that I want to discover and empower and master myself so that I can make a difference in others. I begin with defining who I am. This was inspired because I stepped out of my comfort zone and joined a Toast Master Group so that I can gain confidence and competence in my speaking and communications. The video link below is my first presentation: an introduction of who I am... :) Feature Article
Use the “A Plus” Strategy This strategy can be used in every situation that you may come across. It is a habit we make to become better aware of what we do and how we can improve. Have you faced the frustrations of trying to accomplish one of your goals and you were not able to find the results. Use the “A Plus”. How good has your communication been with those most important to you? The struggle of life can be more than we would like to manage at any one time. Here are 3 basic steps to helping find renewed success in what you do. “A Plus” Strategy Awareness & Acknowledgement: We may know where we want to go and that is always a strong position to be in, but just knowing our goal or destination is not going to get us there. It is difficult to explain to you how to get to the center of Chicago, if I do not know where you are coming from. If you begin in New York that trip would look much different than if you began in Los Angeles. Action & Implementation: Do you remember how afraid you were at your first day of school? The only way to get over that was to face the other kids who also were coming. After the first week, those fears were gone. School was not so hard. Well, anything we face in life is based on that same principal: Live Life with Courage. Take action and work through the fear. Courage is being scared to death— and saddling up anyway. ~ John Wayne. Assess & Examine: Finally, take time to see where you are at with the action you have taken, if you are getting closer then continue on. If you are not getting to where you want to go you have two choices. One: whine and complain that things aren’t working. Two: Decide to make the changes necessary and start over.
